This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights.

Interpretation and Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.

Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Scanitive.
Country refers to: Turkey.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Service refers to the Application.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Personal Data

While using Our Service, We do not collect any personally identifiable information.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service (via Appodeal ad mediation).

Camera

Our Application uses the device's camera to scan product labels and barcodes. All image and text processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or share your camera images on any server.

Product Lookup (Open Food Facts)

When you use barcode scanning, the scanned barcode number is sent to the community-run Open Food Facts catalog (world.openfoodfacts.org) to retrieve product information and the product image. No personal data is transmitted with this request — only the barcode number itself. Barcode lookup runs only after you allow it in the app, and it can be turned off at any time in Settings.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your scan history, health report, personal ingredient-avoidance profile, and any product photos are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to any server, and deleting the Application removes them.

Advertising (Appodeal)

We use the Appodeal ad mediation platform to display advertisements. Appodeal works with multiple ad networks (including Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, ironSource, and others) which may use cookies and mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple IDFA) to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
